Work With Me

  • My in-person work focuses on supporting those who are actively dying, as well as people living with life-limiting illness. This may include advance planning, sitting in vigil, offering companionship, or simply being a calm and steady presence alongside someone and their loved ones.
An equally important part of this work is caring for family members and caregivers, tending to both emotional and practical needs. I consider it an honour to support those who are holding so much for others.
Currently, I offer in-person services in Hastings.

Fees are arranged on a case by case basis.

  • I offer pregnancy loss support for women and families navigating miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, failed IVF, or multiple losses. As a miscarriage doula, I provide a safe, confidential space to share your feelings, process grief, and explore both medical and holistic options for healing. My support includes guidance with recovery, emotional wellbeing, menstrual cycles after loss, and preparing for conception if and when you feel ready. Through online sessions via Zoom or in-person support in the Hastings area, I walk beside you with compassion and practical tools, helping you feel held, understood, and less alone.

We meet via zoom and sessions cost £50.

  • If you are caring for someone at the end of life and would value guidance, reassurance, or a calm and steady presence at the other end of the phone, I offer distance support. These sessions are designed to ease the sense of isolation and provide clarity as you navigate the complexities of end-of-life care. Here you can explore how to practically, emotionally and spiritually support someone you're caring for and explore your own feelings around the process you are witnessing.  Please feel welcome to get in touch to discuss how I may support you.

These sessions are designed for zoom and cost £50 per hour.

  • For those wishing to explore their relationship with death outside of an immediate end-of-life setting, I offer one-to-one sessions via Zoom. These are spacious, reflective conversations that allow us to gently engage with the truth that we all day and what that brings up for you. Fear of death can sit quietly in the background or surface with overwhelming intensity, yet it is rarely given the attention it deserves. In our work together, we will not treat mortality as something to resist or overcome, but as a teacher, one that can bring clarity, depth, perspective, and often joy and awe.

Sessions are one hour and cost £65. If finances feel like a barrier, please reach out and we can discuss this.

  • Death is the one experience we all share, and yet we rarely allow ourselves to sit with it. This practice offers a safe and gentle space to do just that, to turn toward what we fear or avoid, and in doing so, to discover a deeper reverence for life.
This meditation invites you into a contemplative journey where mortality becomes not a shadow to flee from, but a teacher to walk beside.
Come as you are. Leave with a lighter heart, a clearer perspective, and a renewed sense of connection to the gift of living.

This can be done in person or via zoom and takes an hour the cost is £65.

  • I offer supportive online mentoring for new and emerging end-of-life doulas and soul midwives. With three years of experience guiding others in this field, I help you gain confidence, establish your practice, and navigate practical essentials such as setting up your business, insurance, and DBS checks.

Sessions are £50 per hour and take place via Zoom, or in person within the Hastings area.

WHAT MY CLIENTS SAY

  • Katie Rose is wise beyond her years. For almost two years she guided and supported me as I helped my Mum through the final chapter of her life. Katie Rose is insightful, graceful and kind. She was able to give me support with real world practicalities, emotional and spiritual matters. She was adaptable and flexible to my style and needs and held me skilfully through the darkest moments and feelings. Some of the things I learnt from her will stay with me forever. I highly recommend her.

  • I started working with Katie Rose after multiple failed IVF transfers and miscarriages, which left me anxious and not very able to see how this journey could work out for me no matter how hard I tried or wanted it. I’m now 13 weeks pregnant and without Katie Rose’s support in preparation for my most recent transfer and throughout the early weeks of pregnancy, I’d be in a very different place. Through our work, including her thoughtful crafting of affirmations and beautiful visualisations tailored to my journey, I now feel more able to trust in this pregnancy and enjoy being pregnant, something I have always wanted and was afraid was out of reach.

  • Katie is simply brilliant. I didn't know what to expect but she made a huge difference during a really tricky time for me. I don't know if she knows how good and natural she is. She's a wealth of knowledge, incredibly personable and worth every pennyNew List Item

  • I want to take a moment to really champion this woman. She has been such a resource for me as I surfed the in between spaces. What I look for most in my support team is congruence. I want to know the wisdom you preach is embodied in your life. Why? Because in the moment I am alone, struggling and lost touch with myself, I look for the living examples in the community around me who show me the way is possible. Whose truth is able to light a path even when they aren't physically present. That is a true guide

  • Thank you for holding that special space for me, your nourishment and wisdom.

  • I cannot recommend Katie Rose highly enough… I’ve gone from floundering and overwhelmed to feeling much stronger and better equipped to handle this phenomenally difficult life phase. Without Katie Rose’s kindness, knowledge and encouragement I would still be spinning in circles. Thank you Katie Rose, you truly are a blessing in my life.

  • Recently, I was feeling so sad and distraught and guilty when my ‘aunt’ ended up in a residential nursing home in England- it was always her wish to return to Ireland in this eventuality but Alzheimers made it impossible for her to travel. Covid happened and she survived all of that with very few visits from us in Ireland. I found Katie Rose and she has been such an amazing support! A real life angel- Katie Rose was attentive to every aspect of this situation ; her listening allows for deep revelation about M, her life and her needs, medical but more spiritual at this ending stage of life. I felt her compassion , her courage and her strength. With Katie Rose‘s guidance we have put in place support for Maura to accompany her in this final journey and also seen to her medical needs. It feels that M is wrapped in loving care. I feel that I can get in touch with Katie Rose not only about M but any other situation where the end of life approaches- my own and those of my friends/ family. And I will do so. She has transformed an intolerable situation into a place of support and love and courage.

  • When I first met Katie I immediately liked her, and I knew straight away that she would be kind, calm and thoughtful in her role as a doula. She is a good timekeeper, has a tranquil and soothing presence which makes her very suited to working with the terminally ill.
